God is invoked so often, and for so many matters that should not invoke God's involvement. Before a high school football game, every time Barry Bonds hits a home run. This trend of athletes pointing to the sky everytime they do what they are paid for is disturbing. If the people who are so blessed with talent, take a moment to thank their Creator for their talents, what is worng with that? Do you think it is posing? I have no problem with a quick glance skyward and a mouthed "thank you." They may be paid to do what they do, but they are functioning at the highest levels of their chosen fields. The people capableo f doing that are few, they are blessed and the ones who say thank you, realize that.
