I like that word foreclosure. It precludes debate . It makes what I say right and you wrong. It's a termination word. THat's what I see when anyone uses religion,the flag, Nationalism etc. as an justification for anything that suits them. Axis of EVIL. Now, what is evil. It's one thing to one person and then again, something else to another. Last night a documentary that I watched on a young man whose name was ALLIGATOR, a famous skate boarder illustrated that. He is in prison now for murder. On his downward slide which was precipitated by his not being so famous anymore he realized that he had problems. However the religious born again Christian movement he had joined told him that psychological counseling was evil.THat it was the devil that was in him and by believing he could dispell it from his soul. So, he did what they suggested. NOTHING. And ended up killing a young girl and is now serving a life sentence for the offense. When they did get him in psych. evaluation he was discovered to be bi-polar. Medication might have saved him from having committed this act.. Maybe this doesn't illustrate it so well as I would like.I just have a thing against religious zealotry..
