"No...you said yourself it's the wrong war, wrong etc so why should we join??

Because if they don't help us straighten out Iraq Bush will again run for President in 2008?

Seriously, I'm sure you you would tell someone who refused to acknowledge a mistake "You made your bed, now lie in it." On the other hand, if someone admits they were wrong and asks for help to make it right, wouln't you help if you could?

Bush promised a humble foreign policy, yet came in with guns blazing to cancel the Kyoto Accords, the ABM treaty, impose steel and lumber tarriffs, ignore the world court, stop talks with North Korea, make life difficult for Iranian moderates and in general make himself look like a jerk. And that was before 9/11. Afterwards he insulted France and Germany as "old Europe", misled the world about WMD and Iraqi terror while shifting from a neutral stance to a rabid pro-Israeli position, ruining America's role as an honest broker.

Kerry's snakeoil is preferable to Bush's Koolaid.

You must stop being so politically gullible.

Huh? Please explain.

<<Wisely? We have spent over $200 million and have lost thousands to death and injury and now they are talking a ten year occupation, and you call that wise? I would be interested in knowing what you consider bad judgment.>>

I consider John Kerry's stance on Iraq to be terrible judgment. He calls it the "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time and then states he will convince more foreign heads of state to participate in it. huh? Only a fool would not answer his request with--"No...you said yourself it's the wrong war, wrong etc so why should we join??

Its definitely the wrong war but you may not have noticed that Iraq has fallen into anarchy. Its the equivalent of sticking a pole into an Africanized bee hive. The bees are swarming, endangering everyone. Europe is just that much closer to Iraq with larger Muslim populations. Kerry's hope is that once Bush is gone, they will help calm down the mess. We can only hope.

Kerry made strident statements that Saddam Hussein is a dangerous man & the world would be a better place without him as dictator of Iraq. His "wrong war, wrong place" rhetoric coincided with the start of his Pres campaign. That's pure Kerry....say anything in an attempt to win an election, even if it contradicts your former remarks.

There are many dictators where the world would be better off without them. That doesn't mean you go in and start a pre emptive war. Only a fool would think that was smart.

Don't fall for Kerry's snakeoil salesman pitch. He would be dangerous in the oval ofc.

Snake oil salesman? You've been bewitched. The smirk is on jr.'s face. And what do you think he thinks is so funny? That you all fall for his BS.
