Hi Malcolm, I've spoken to Ameritrade. I can't, for example, buy AEr.TO, those receipts or any other, at them or any brokerage I contacted. I hear we can't buy the exchangeable units either. I suppose I could get an account in Canada but the fees are much higher.

I have heard from many people that Canadians have much more investment selections in the US than vice versa.
