I think that chart [ secure.moneytide.com ]is bogus because it compares the Nikkei to the SPX, not the NASDAQ.

I updated a full set of charts here
suite101.com
that shows the NASDAQ has already corrected MORE than the Nikkei. It did it much faster too which speaks to how the US markets face less government interference and support.
