Oh, yes, let's talk about the War on Drugs in the US. Let's talk about doctors prescribing mind-altering drugs to children, who later go on murderous rampages in high school. Let's talk about the drug war ads we see on tv every day. And the hapless millions too shy to talk to strangers who've gotten their prescriptions of whatever to overcome their hesitation.

I'm sorry but you haven't said anything about the war on drugs in America. Just strung together a bunch of nonsense.

doctors prescribing mind-altering drugs to children I guess you're talking ritalin or anti-depressants. Controversial. Sounds like you're opposed to children being prescribed such drugs. What do you think about children buying weed and Zanax etc in the school bathroom or at the pizza parlor or in the movie parking lot? What about adults doing it? Do you have a position on it - should we be tougher on illegal drugs or milder - maybe legalize?

who later go on murderous rampages in high school I don't believe the several such rampages have been caused by doctor prescribed drugs. The Hollywood entertainment culture which glamorizes violence sounds like a more likely contributing cause.

Let's talk about the drug war ads we see on tv every day. It's a shame you didn't say anything else about this - I did ask whether you were hawkish on the drug war at home, but from your sentence its impossible to tell whether you approve of or oppose "drug war ads" or the drug war as a whole.

And the hapless millions too shy to talk to strangers who've gotten their prescriptions of whatever to overcome their hesitation. What does this have to do with the drug war? Are you expressing disapproval of shy people getting prescriptions or what? And why do you care what shy people do?

You seem to be a person with strong FEELINGS about things, but are unable to describe your feelings much less think about things.

merely showed you that you were wrong in asserting that the opium growing in Afghanistan could not be stopped. It was stopped. And I neither approve nor endorse the methods. I merely pointed out you were wrong. So, eat it.

Yes, but what was your point? Are we supposed to think Bush is bad cause he's not making the AFghans stop growing opium like the Taliban did? But of course, you don't want him to do that either so why bring it up?

All in all, that was pitiful.
