I also believe that there should be partnership benefits for gay and lesbian couples in long-term, committed relationships.

But we should not use the Constitution to divide this country.

No state for the last 200 years has ever had to recognize another state's marriage.

This is using the Constitution as a political tool, and it's wrong.

Scott, it is ridiculous to suggest anyone is born gay. Environment one is brougt up in plays a major part but it is an un-natural life style. Look at nature. Tell me one mammal that is predisposed to being gay. We could learn a lot about God's purpose for humans just by observing nature. There is help for the homosexual just like any other disease that fabricates itself in the mind.
