You fund it with the currency you open the account in. After that, you can buy any currency and put it in your account. Forexample, you can buy USD and borrow at a lower rate to CS, then convert to C$ in your account. (The rates are variable, I don't do this) Withdrawals are the same, so if you have a C$ account and you request a check, it comes in C$.
