Cheney knew exactly what he was doing. It is obvious that most casual watchers will walk away with an impression of Cheney as 'hard workin', like his boss, and Edwards as a slacker. So what if the truth is lost in the process; politics, Rove style, is about planting seeds of doubt nestled in a bed of lies...
