I did not suggest immunity to criticism. I have questioned the prudence of the specific criticism lodged against Bush by Kerry. I think that Nixon made a mistake to signal eagerness to find an escape from Vietnam, and to declare a policy of gradual withdrawal of American troops without regard to conditions on the ground. I think that Reagan made a mistake to pull out troops after the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut. I think that we are right not to allow the North Koreans to dictate terms of negotiation on proliferation issues. In other words, I think it is a mistake to negotiate from weakness, or to tip your hand too soon, or to encourage those who easily resort to terror or intimidation to apply more of the same in order to gain a more favorable position. Kerry is undermining our position to no good purpose in various areas, especially in Iraq.

Dear lying and libeling Kenneth E. Phillipps, if in fact their obvious mistakes in Iraq, then hanoi kerry and the shyster made an obiouss mistake in voting to authorize the President to act.

And if one follows the advice of hanoi kerry and reads da plan for Iraq, it is a 2.3 page outline that is just the same as PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH's current plan.

But the senile, the liar, and the libeler are all too stupid to that that obvious fact.
