The Afghan/Pakistan region poses the greatest terrorist threat to America, imo. "we are still operating in the Afghan/ Pakistan region" We are operating there as an aside to Iraq, when you consider the number of troops in Iraq as compared with Pakistan/Afghanistan. So, tell me if this is correct. In Pakistan a guy named Khan has been selling and sharing his knowledge of how to build a nuclear bomb. Osama Bin Laden lives in the region. The region is a hot-bed of Al Qaeda operatives.... and this is less of a threat to United States than Iraq? I don't buy it, sorry.
