My mistake on the number. The Iraq civilian dead is about 15,149. Still my point is Cheney said those deaths contributed to 40% of the coalation forces killed in action , not 90% like Edwards said. It's true the Iraqis are taking a hit but so aren't we. The ones who are actually fighting for their freedom, meaning coalation military forces, we are sustaining 90% of the causalities. That's the point. Cheney was just trying to deflect the enormity of our losses. Just so you know, we went to war against Iraq so they were the enemy, now it's a different story. I am amazed that anybody does support Bush. Tell me one thing that he has done for this country outside of the war on terrorism? I agree I supported him after 9/11 but when he lost focus from fighting actual terrorism I lost faith. Tell me that the world supports us in what we have done! We were wrong in my opinion to go to Iraq and we were wrong to go against the opinion of a good majority of the world against us. What we did is totally undo what the past 50 years of what the UN tried to accomplish because of what? One mans opinion and a bunch of blind followers. If you have been overseas you would know the opinion of Americans. Step foot in the UK (I have) and ask anybody what he or she thinks. You won't like it. What has Bush done for this country outside of the war on terrorism I ask again?
