By not doing what? Not commiting atrocities? Getting out of going to Vietnam by using his families money and influence? You people that are so down on Kerry for his service in vietnam have a such a blind spot for Bush and Cheney. Both of whom used deferments or NG duty to get out of going to war. I still don't understand the point of your post. Kerry was in Vietnam and followed orders to do things he later thought were wrong and then, he had the audacity, to say so. jb
