Ted, Why do you think its a stupid idea? Nearly half the country lives in Seoul.

An even better reason for the Korean government to save its money and stay within the heart of Seoul.


Too much power and money is concentrated in Seoul. Its better for a country to have more than one key city. It leads to an exchange of ideas, competition and allows other parts of the country to join in the prosperity. Plus, Seoul is becoming badly polluted and overcrowded.

Growth outside Seoul is likely whether the gov't acts or not. Better to control the growth rather than let it run helter skelter IMO.

Now that we solved SK's problems what do you want to discuss next? <g>
