That debate was a more blatant case of nature imitating art than most carefully stage-managed phony political events on TV.

It was like watching Satan's Hand Puppet (Cheney) "debate" some Sesame Street parolee with Ms. Ifill there to make sure they didn't get into too much mischief. Any actual dialogue intended to inform voters was of course ruled out by paid armies of spin doctors and consultants weeks in advance of the actual pseudo-event.

God Help America.

Cheney kept saying, "I don't know where to start" ... and it was clear he was telling the truth (for once). Apparently he was _not_ telling the truth, however, about never having met Edwards.

But SUNW's price performance seems to be calling it a draw.

JMHO.

Your conclusion is an obvious result of your bias. Edwards certainly was not the clear winner. He was clearly rattled and making mistakes at the end.
