Bush's rhetoric is an attempt to put lipstick on a pig.

Speaking candidly about the situation, and making the necessary adjustments in strategy to appropriately deal with the realities on the ground will HELP us accomplish our purpose.

Btw, I never said we couldn't get SH, the question was whether we should, and how. Now that it's a mess, we have the responsibility to clean it up and do it right.

For all his tough talk about hard work, Bush continues to pee into the wind of reality when he discusses Iraq. All the fanciful speeches in the world cannot take the place of a well thought out and executed plan.
