Ted, I must admit that the only times I visited Seoul were during the times of the year when it was most beautiful. You're right, though, it is a lot like L.A., though IMO, it's also like NYC.

I know that's not your cup of tea, but most Koreans are used to the urbanization. It's not like they really have a choice, though.

Busan is the second city with a population of 3.7 million. Seoul has over 15 million. Sounds like Seoul is very dominate. BTW what part of Korea is your family from originally?

The third largest city, Daegu. Of course, Korea has changed a LOT since their childhood, and almost all of my extended family now lives in Seoul.
