AS, just remember to stay focused on what is good for America and Americans, and not who's "winning" and "losing". No matter who wins, American doesn't depend on a president to be America, it depends on ordinary folk who believe strongly in democracy.

People feel passionate about Bush, just as you feel passionate about Kerry. Political choices that are not yours do not make others thoughts and ideas less valuable. If we are going to be good citizens, we should try to take the "one up manship" out of our conversations and focus on real issues. My dad, who I admire greatly, is a staunch Republican. There must be something valid I can learn from him about this position. My father-in-law, a staunch Republican who just turned Democrat. Also, something I can learn from him. Although initally in favor of Bush, I'm now mostly undecided, so there's little you can learn from me, lol.
