"Sistant supports free democratic elections."

If you say so.... (Anyway, I'm sure he would like to see some kind of elections, in that 60% or so of the Iraqi population is Shia. After the Shia take control we'll see if they merely wanted to seize the reins of power --- or if they actually have a committment to civil rights for their minority populations too.... We will also see if they want to install some kind of Religious control of the government like their co-religionists in Iran have.)

"Sistani isn't that old and won't die before elections."

Maybe you've got a pipeline to God or something, and he told you that.... But that wasn't what I stated. All I said was that he's OLD (he is), his health ain't all that good (was just in London for heart condition) and he ain't going to be around forever.

Question was: who (what Mullah???) takes power after he's departed the scene?
