And the locals would rather be known by what they do than what they say. A Couer d'Alene military recruiter told me a few weeks ago that he doesn't think any recruiter ever failed to meet his monthly or quarterly goal in N Idaho.>

Maybe people are keen to get out of North Idaho and the military is a well-paying, usually safe, road to a good income and a warmer climate.
