Yes because here is what will happen. The next President will be able to stack the Court. The President is also entrusted with entering into Treaties with Senate Ratification. The UN is currently trying to confiscate all small arms via a worldwide treaty. Why? To be able to safely kill all UN/globalization dissenters. Remember, totalitarian Governments in the 20th Century murdered 170 million people. Privately owned firearms are not the problem.
