profootballtalk.com TRAGEDY STRIKES FAVRE AGAIN Less than a year after his father, Irv, died suddenly of a heart attack, the 24-year-old brother of Brett Favre's wife, Deanna, died in an ATV accident on Favre's Mississippi property. Casey Tynes, 24, was riding without a helmet when the ATV flipped. The Packers face the Titans on Monday night. There's been no comment at this point as to whether Favre will play. If he doesn't, the team's quarterbacks will be Craig Nall and J.T. O'Sullivan, since Doug Pederson is out at least 6-8 weeks with a cocktail of injuries suffered in his stint on Sunday against the Giants. Favre put up a performance for the ages against the Raiders on MNF last December, one day after his father died. But with the Packers reeling at 1-3 -- and with rumors circulating that Favre and coach Mike Sherman aren't seeing eye-to-eye -- Brett might decide that he needs to be with his wife at this incredibly difficult time.
