It can't hurt for the broader public to get exposure to the real 9/11 story. The more alternative 9/11 info that's out in the mainstream the better, as long as it's not obvious distractions like hologram nonsense.

I can't believe watching the news everyday hearing Bush and Cheney constantly evoke 9/11 and War on Terrorism in their campaign appearances. Even if one doesn't believe all the 9/11 conspiracy information, much of which is pretty solid as far as conspiracy theories go (and sometimes much more plausible than the official story line). Even if one doesn't buy into the conspiracy side of things, because people are heavily conditioned by our society to automatically discount conspiracy theories out of hand (even when history has sometimes proven conspiracy theorists correct, someone that logic doesn't make it into the American psyche).

What I'm getting at is, even if the conspiracy theory stuff isn't your ball of wax, to hear the two guys who sat in office for 9 months before 9/11/01 (BUSH & CHENEY), who were specifically warned of an Al Queda threat in August, 2001, who had intelligence from their FBI that arabs were training at flight schools and their motives seemed suspicious, who sat there on 9/11/01 and did essentially nothing to defend us, who have recklessly used our military in response to 9/11... To hear these guys tell us they're the ones who will defend us from terrorism every day, is laughable. Give me a break! Besides, I'm a hell of a lot more threatened by run of the mill sort of crimes and safety concerns than the rare terrorist incident. They're using 9/11 and terrorism to scare the hell out of people, and it works.

Re: "Crossing the Rubicon" is now ranked #17 in non-fiction bestsellers."

That's pretty impressive. Unfortunately, most of those who really need to know the truth behind what actually happened on 9/11 probably don't know how to read.

NPR recently announced that 38% of adult American males did not read a single book in 2003. The Founding Fathers are rolling in their graves...
