Darffot, You are 100% right on last year, to the penny. I had never heard of him before that, so I wouldn't know about any earlier words of wisdom. Last year, I asked him about how much debt it has taken to generate a dollar of GDP growth. He didn't know what I was talking about, tried to fake the answer ("I think it's probably within the normal range for recoveries". No, it's not! That's why real economists are focusing on it.) And the fun part is after it is over and all my fellow brokers telling me that this is a "no nonsense guy who really tells it like it is." <G>
