Clinton balanced the budget and added $200 surplus.

In concrete terms, who are the real fiscal conservatives?
Remember, Clinton balanced the budget and created a booming economy and also provided many benefits for the poor and middle class.

The Republcians create their deficit through coroporate welfare and tax cuts for the super rich. In simple words, the Republicans use their power over the budget to enrich the super rich and multi-national corporation through the creation of more tax burdents on the middle class.

I wish they did. Under Newt Gingrich there was a strong move for a balanced budget amendment. Now that Newt is gone, the balanced budget amendment is also off the table.
