The key question on the human flu vaccine front is why Panama strain has been used for the past 5 year...Using the same virus year after year really makes little sense since the same at risk population get immunized year after year with the same virus Fully agree Henry..I declined last year's vaccine much to the consternation of my doc's..I have real concerns with our CDC(I read last year that they did not take the advise of some scientists to change the strain for last year's batch and by the time they were convinced, it was too late) their involvement in the Chiron situation?..imo, CDC should bear some culpability.. End of rant.. Zeta
