What will happen to the American Consulate on Clayallee and the old American Embassy in East Berlin?

I don't know yet. I picked up something about "3 for 1", i.e. three former official US locations will be exchanged for the new one. The current US embassy is in the Neustädtische Kirchstr./Dorotheenstr., a byroad of Unter den Linden. Was this the location of the East German embassy?

The 1/2 was a fully stocked bar for special visitors.
