There is a site where anyone can send needed and wanted items to our soldiers....plus, when they can, these soldiers write back to you and tell you what they can of what is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan...

One of my friends is a young woman, who has sent many packages, and has received pictures, notes, and letters of thanks back. She's keeping a scrapbook of them.... One of my groups supports her effort, both in items to send, and help with the postage, so she can send more as she can. GREAT project for those of us who want to help....

We have also started our own "Adopt a Soldier"....these soldiers are relatives of members of our group....Plus we support the Vets Hospital with parties and Christmas gifts for one of the wings....
