Why does Britain have multiple suppliers while shrub only allowed 2? That decision has NOTHING to do with researchers estimating how many doses will be needed, wayno. It has to do with shrub siding with corporate interests in their greed over concern for what is right for Americans.

Yes that about right. They make educated guesses about the thre must prevalent flu strains in the southern hemishere and on the supposition that it will continue on to the flu season in the northern hemisphere that's the best anyone can do right. But, the US government would do good for people if the paid for extra capacity to assure enough flu vaccine and gave it away. Many lives would be saved. Instead Bush lies to us and invades foreign countries for no good reason other than someone tried to hurt his daddy and kills tens of thousands of innocent civilians, over a thousand US service people and squanders $200 billion dollars and growing. We're stuck in a quagmire in Iraq because Bush has the WRONG priorities.
