Weak argument. You could say exactly the same thing about any controversial speaker. Some want to hear the speech, some don't. Should the university only pay for non-controversial speakers?

I was a liberal until I heard William F. Buckley speak at my college (about subsidiarity), and the scales fell from my eyes. If LSU had only engaged non-controversial speakers, that would not have happened.
