Scott Reamer on Minyanville offered some comments on ATT that I will paraphrase. In addition I will post a quote:

Talk about deflation....
ATT is being even more agressive at cost cutting.
Previously it was 8% of the job force and that was considered aggressive. What is most damning about cutting 20% of the job force is this comes after 3 years of cost cutting.

"This is the power of deflation my dear reader and it has ominous implications for companies and economies laden with debt"

Mish note: Most of the minyanville writers believe in inflation or stagflation not deflation. Scott is one of the few that has it right IMO.
