You've engaged in some very cloudy thinking there. What Gore wanted wasn't provided for under Florida law, and was unconstitutional, to boot. You can't change the rules in the midst of an election. A Democrat Florida judge named Sanders Saul so held, and after being overturned by a very politically liberal Florida high court, was upheld by the Supremes. The "recount" that Sore and his election-stealing Daley machine from Chicago wanted wasn't allowed under Florida law. Bush wasn't appointed. He was elected based upon the rules that were in place at the time of the election. You are either a victim or a perpetrator of historical revisionism.
