Just got this email from a friend showing who presided over the Senate on every Tuesday since 2000. According to the record below, Mr. Cheney has presided over the Senate twice in the past four years. It would seem Mr. Cheney is a sociopath and a chronic liar!

**********************************************************

>Subject: VP in the Senate: TWICE IN FOUR YEARS!

>In Tuesday night's debate, Dick Cheney tried to make a point of Edward's attendance record in the US Senate. Cheney says that he presides (as the VP is suppose to do) most Tuesdays. Well here is the TRUTH (which Cheney wouldn't recognize of course). Please pass this along to those who doubt. Of course the horrible lies he told were about Iraq and
>healthcare, etc. But this is amusing!

Was Ritter right?

<rant> damn straight he was.
not only that, but saddam hussein was also
right when he said he had no wmd's...

this really rankled me then and still does
when i recall bush spewing his saber rattling
rhetoric to the effect that saddam refused
to disarm so we had NO CHOICE but to send
in airstrikes and troops to disarm him.

if it rankles me that much, can you imagine
how iraqis and others around the world feel?

it takes a lot of self control, politeness
and diplomacy not to blurt out the kind of
adjectives about bush, cheney and rumsfield
that ralph and sylvester regularly exhale...
"reckless murderers" is not an unfair term
in this case.

the alternative? laws, courts, evidence, indictments,
international police, etc.

civilization cannot grow up without international
law - no exemptions for any country or any man,
no matter how rich or powerful. no one should be
above the law.

a lot of evidence is pointing to what SHOULD BE
indictments. </rant>
