You admit then there were Vietnam atrocities? You mention Calley? Do you also know enough Vietnam history to know what the Phoenix Program was, and how many brutal assassinations it was involved in? You know about the atrocities the rightwing accuses Bob Kerrey of being involved in? That was the Phenox Program. That was exactly what Kerry was describing in 1971 and the American people needed to know about it. Mind you, in a just war, I have nothing against our soldiers being sent to kill with extreme prejudice, but this was different. This was way over the line and totally senseless. Vietnam was a mad house by 1960-1971 and every honest person knows it. As Kerry rightly said, the blame laid at the top, not at the bottom as the rightwing claims he was saying.
