Treasury prices spiked higher after the Labor Department reported a disappointing rise in employment. Nonfarm payrolls in August rose by 96,000 versus an expected rise of 148,000 jobs, per Bloomberg. Also, last month's figure was revised downward to an increase of 128,000 positions from 144,000, while the highly anticipated annual revision from March 2003 - March 2004 reflected a 236,000 increase in the number of jobs.

Meaning that you can BET THE RANCH that the Bush boyz are going to seriously LOWER the number Next MONTH
