Is anyone going to follow up on the Bush Wired business? If it is not true, George needs to pull off that suit coat tonight and get comfortable. What was that box on is back in the pictures from the first debate? Now, I would not put it past people in our sick political environment to digitally touch up pictures and start waggin' the dog...but has any news agency followed up on this at all?

I'm with you Kenneth! I think BOTH candidates should voluntarily submit to a pat-down and pocket search before debating. I wish someone had had a full-spectrum scanner going during the last debate - it would have busted Bush. He's obviously got some sort of radio-delivered advice setup. It would explain some of his weird pauses and other behavior, like asking for more time when he had plenty. It didn't seem to help him. We know he has trouble doing two things at once, like thinking and talking. I imagine the earpiece just screwed him up even further. Bush is a legacy. Other people have been doing his homework his whole life. Why should we expect any difference now that he's President?
