I recall from the time I first read of president's IQ's that the numbers were derived from analyzing speeches, the number of syllables, etc.

You think that's accurate?

I mean, the Lovenstein Institute has it down to exact digits. How can it possibly be so accurate without doing tests?

Is it significant to you that Dem presidents have substantially higher IQs according to the Lovenstein Institute than GOP Presidents? I thought intelligence was not distributed on the basis of political affiliation. Moreover, anyone who has the smarts to be elected president, has to be given at least a 10 point boost. Does that mean W has an IQ in the 80s?

One last point: have you considered the possibility of a hoax?
