With all due respect, can you point me to one instance when you did NOT DEFER to the official statements of those currently in power?

I cannot think of an instance where you took a position that was opposed to the official line of the Bush Administration. True, you have moved with them as they've changed positions and in each instance you've accepted their rationale for why they changed postitions. But since it aqppears you never disagree with them, why do you spend so much time simply repeating their points of view? If your theory of good citizenship is "deference" then why do you bother? Why not take a more direct approach and simply copy and paste their own statements in response to those who critically address the official positions of the Bush people?

But maybe I'm wrong; maybe you can refer me to a post where you took a counter position to the then-current stand of the Bush people?
