You're certain that Hussein would have complied with UN's 17th or 18th resolution?? The recent CIA report proved conclusively that the UN would never have given the go ahead to oust Hussein. The UN/France/Germany & Russia were all stealing from Iraq's Food for Oil program. That's the reason they were never going to give the go ahead. They wanted to keep their money machine dictator in power.

Bush is the one who is unfit and has proven it.
He failed in Iraq. Based on lies and miscalculations.
He intentionally duped everyone and used deliberate scare tactics in order to get us into a war which only big oil companies gained from.
