In the paper today there is an article about a guy showing up at the election office after the deadline (5 pm) and trying to submit 550 applications for voter registration. He was turned away by (butterfly ballot) Theresa LePore and told to mail them in if he could get a postmark on them before midnight. Then he sneaks in and gets in an argument with Lepore. He wouldn't identify himself but did say it was "a lot easier in New York". LePore told him..."well then go back to New York".

Turns out the applications were tied to a Muslim group who is trying to affect the election in 5 key sates in the FAVOR of Kerry. Many of them were incomplete. So, if Kerry loses, expect more hoopla about people getting turned away at the polls.

Stay tuned.
