Of course you are correct. Usually, it would take wild horses to stop a politician from saying something self-serving.

In the debate last night Bush reiterated what I said in my post, that the recession (over for more then 2 1/2 years now) was "one of the mildest on record."

Which begs the question of course that --- if it was so 'mild' and ended over 2 1/2 years ago --- why the deficit is such a continuing problem, and why the revovery in employment is so sub-par....
