Peter... it ain't the money (at least as far as I'm concerned). I know that the money that Cheney receives from Halliburton is from a pension which he'd get no matter what.

But, people make deals for their buds... just the way it is. If Cheney's making deals in the WH for Halliburton, it's not for the money, it's because he's still close with the people with whom he worked. And, it seems that Halliburton is getting quite the deal in Afghanistan and Iraq, so there's reasonable cause to be suspicious.

So what? At some point, good ethics rises above self-interest.

Plus, you can always write CC's.
