Peter I hope so----I have done quite a bit in my life including the political stuff----briefing local candidates for debates(including what color of tie to wear). What I particularly liked about the debate tonight was the format----both Bush and Kerry had the opportunity to move around in a large space as they spoke--like being in Arena Stage. This generated energy for both candidates. The one who gained the most from this format was Bush as he was ready to enter the frey. I liked the way he did not back off with the responses. If he had been Mr. Milk Toast, so to speak, Kerry would have used the space to his exclusion. Getting late----just a few more weeks and a little normalcy in the Washington area where I am. mj
