Bush considers the debate a win because he got through it without making a fool out of himself, but Kerry nailed him again. However, Bush was probably able to reassure his conservative base. For that alone they consider it a "victory". Meanwhile Kerry now has a slim national lead, about a 8-10% booth from two weeks ago.

Funny Bush doesn't remember he owns part of a timber company though. I thought that was his best line, and it turns out to be a lie. This follows a pattern.
