My POV from day one here has been that the networks use the NYT frame on their presentations. Helperin's memo proves it. He is telling his staff to push Nagorney's idea that Bush is lying about Kerry, and downplay Kerry's lies about Bush.

This theme will be used by many in the media from now until the election.

I thought that Kerry's comment was insulting & arrogant both
times he brought it up.

Kerry "said, at least twice as I recall, that out of everyone present only he, Bush - and the moderator - would benefit from the tax cut for peole who make over 200K. I think this is remarkable. The man walks in - and within minutes he is able to size up the entire crowd, as to how much money each one makes. This is nothing short of amazing.
