This morning when sending a link it is prefaced with "hyperlink" which I did not put in and it duplicates the link attaching it to the end of the fist link.

Check in Program files-> Mozilla firefox -> Defaults-> Profile.
In profile should be your bookmarks.

If you created a new profile in firefox you may have two profiles. Perhaps you can move/copy past the bookmarks to the good profile.

Not sure if this will work, but it’s worth a try.
