The 'SI' Icon

Bob,

<< I just brought over "favicon.ico" from the old site, which I'm led to believe will use our icon in Favorites rather than the IE icon, but that's not what's happening on my machine. >>

I wondered where that old fav came back from. It now shows up in my Firefox "Bookmarks Toolbar," in the adress window, in the Bookmarks pop down, but not in my IE6 Links bar or in Favorites, or in the adress window.

In IE6 very few default icons display this way for me (anymore). In Firefox many do including virtually all icons from MSN/MSNBC sites, Real, Comcast, Google news, (now SI), etc., but not TMF which used to display an alternate icon in IE. Perhaps this relates to a configuration option in IE6 pr XP Pro?

[Edit: Hmm, that TMF (Fool) gif appears in the Firefox address window, but if I drag it to the Firefox "bookmarks bar" it displays with the default IE 'e']
