Do you remember the ORIGINAL plans for Iraq? It was to put American governors into all of the provinces. It was (still is) to put in the largest embassy in the world: 3000 bodies. It was (still is) to build 14 bases including a $1 Billion concrete bunker (maybe that's the embassy) that's still being built. The idea was to take political pressure off the Saudi corrupt royals and make Iraq into a gigantic military base to control the entire region. None of this is any secret. Do you remember the maps of Iraqi oil fields and which companies would get them? Do you know that we guarded the ministry that had all the oil paperwork but not the one that probably contained the paperwork for WMDs? None of this is a secret. The pipelines go through Afghanistan (for natural gas I believe) and through Kuwait into Iraq. The area is so dangerous that I don't think anyone outside the military and oil companies know what is really going on.
