These plans were by people NOT IN POWER. They aren't a surprise or a secret. Bush could have tried going to war for oil, I don't think it would take but who knows?

The reality is this. The US refuses to cut back on oil consumption. Without oil the US becomes a third world country (as does everything else). Would we go to war for oil? Would that be a moral war?

Would we go to war for water? Would that be a moral war?

Would we go to war for air? Would that be a moral war?

We ARE in Iraq for oil. Wolfowitz has admitted it as an explanation of why we went into Iraq for nonexistent WMDs instead of into NK for existing WMDs.

It's not really an argument. It's obvious. The administration doesn't crow about it but it does everything it can to secure and pump oil.

Is it moral? I don't know.
