Except Iraq didn't attack us, Al Qaeda did. We're already off the WWII track which is why this is such an unpopular war like Vietnam.

That's a simplistic "analysis," if you can call it that.

Instead of marshalling our forces and international public opinion ('we are all Americans today'), we went to get the oil instead.

I fail to see the truth in either of those phrases. Document each with facts, please.

If we had even 50,000 troops in Afghanistan, the elections might have gone off really well instead of the way they did go off.

You'll have to explain that one, too.
